Slender shrublet with tetragonal branches. Leaves narrow, opposite, sparsely ciliate, (lacks the silvery-hairy leaf margins of Struthiola ciliata); small cream-coloured or pink flowers in elongated spikes.

Rich evening scent; pollinated by moths.
