Erect, non-spiny shrub or scrambler up to 2m. Leaves smooth and oval up to 50mm long, softly leathery; flowers 1-few in axils, mauve to light blue, up to 18mm across.

Berries yellowish-orange to red, up to 15mm in diameter.
