Description
Limited coastal habitat so vulnerable. This dwarf ground protea has numerous short erect stems growing from an underground branch system. The long narrow ascending leaves blend with the surrounding fynbos making the shrublet cryptical. The upright foliage also hides the small greenish inflorescences which give off a yeasty smell and are mice pollinated.
