Description

Rhizome creeping. Plants often die down in winter months. Stipe up to 60cm long, pale brown, glabrous. Lamina (leaf blade) broadly lanceolate in outline, up to 1m long x 38cm wide, soft in texture, deeply 3-pinnatifid, veins on pinnae are conspicuous. Sori are long and marginal interrupted at the apices.

Latin: incisa = referring to the deeply incised pinnules.

Habitat

Moist habitats in montane forests and on streambanks usually in high light situations
