Ericoid shrublet up to 1.5m. Narrow, spreading, rosemary-like leaves 5-30 x 1-1.5mm; bears 2 or 3 small, whitish, woolly flowers in the axils.
Fruits hairy and wind dispersed.
Grubbia is the only genus in the family Grubbiaceae; consisting of 3 species which are entirely endemic to the fynbos of the south-western Cape.
