Stemless, tufted perennial up to 40cm. Leaves tufted, dullish-green, oblanceolate to elliptic, hairless to sparsely cobwebby beneath, margins lightly toothed and rolled under. Bears radiate, white or pink flowerheads, maroon on reverse on scaly flowerstalks.
