Small delicate, wiry shrublet up to 15cm. Leaves are covered with gland-tipped hairs; flowers are very small, cup-shaped, white to pale-pink, hairy and sticky with protruding red stigmas.
Greek: petra = rock, philus = loving; referring to the habitat of this species.
