Rare, rather shy species, which tend to grow as a mosslike shrublet on moist southfacing rocky ledges.

Erect, spreading or prostrate shrublet up to 40cm. Leaves are blunt, rounded, 3-nate; white flowers form umbels at tips of branches, are broadly urn-shaped and slightly sticky; anthers are blunt or rounded; style bent.

Latin: obtusatus = blunt; referring to the anthers of this species.
