Description
Robust, erect shrub, resprouting from a woody base, up to 2m. Leaves 3-foliolate, leaflets hairless, narrow, needle-like with edges rolled under; bears clusters of striking, bright yellow, scented flowers, fading brownish at centre as they age.
Cyclopia genistoides is the original 'heuningtee' (Honey Bush Tea). Today other species are also harvested commercially.
