Plants of varying size up to40cm. Bulb covered with soft tunics, producing extensible threads when torn. Leaves 4-6, dry or green at flowering, spreading to prostrate, strap-like, 4 -10mm wide, dull green; flowers pale to deep pink, margins undulate, 1-8 in loose umbel, tepals lanceolate.
