Description

Cormous geophyte up to 20cm. Flowers appearing just before the leaves which emerge as flowering season is ending. Leaves as many as eight, tufted, lanceolate, longer than the inflorescence, with long narrow tips, softly pleated, hairless or the ribs sometimes hairy when young. Flowers yellow, sometimes lemon-scented, tepals outspread from a smooth neck. Ovary subterranean.
