Sprawling shrublet, rarely higher than 30cm. Leaves 3-foliolate, leaflets subterete-angular, glabrous; flowers 1 or 2 at branch tips, pale yellow or purplish, wings and keel glabrous , calyx hairy, lobes tongue-like, with 3 or 5 distinct veins, subglabrous.
