Plants slender up to 20cm tall. Leaves clustered basally, remainder almost entirely sheathing the stem, grading into the floral bracts. Inflorescence sub-corymbose, with 3-10 rose-pink flowers with darker spots on lateral sepals and petals. Spur slender 5-6mm long, lip lanceolate and slightly notched.
Habitat
Isolated plants or small populations can occur in dry stony soil or in damp - mossy rock crevices.
