Description
Cormous geophyte up to 50cm tall. Leaves narrowly sword-shaped, 5-10mm wide with thickened margins. Flowers purple-pink, flower tube short 20-25mm long, flared above; stamens declinate (curved downwards); bracts 9-16mm long.
Capsules ovoid-oblong.
Habitat
Mainly rocky sandstone slopes at low elevations, also granite and clay.
