Roughly hairy annual up to 50cm. Leaves ovate to elliptic, crenulate-toothed; flowers few on elongate peduncles (flower stalks), cup-shaped, white or blue, 12-18mm in diameter; ovary glabrous; style with 3 (sometimes 6) glands below stigmas.
