Small tree to 20m, bark striated. Pinnate leaves have oblong leaflets finely haired beneath; bears pale pink and white flowers 15-25mm long, in axillary racemes, subtended by large bracts, 7-15mm long, that persist until the buds are 10mm long. Requires plenty of water.
