Soft, delicate, small carnivorous plant. Small narrow leaves at the base which are rarely noticed; thin, wiry racemes of one to a few 2-lipped irregular nemesia-like flowers, the upper lip is small and yellow, lower lip spurred and mauve-blue or white in colour.
The plant has tiny subterranean bladders that capture small organisms to feed the plant. Bladder traps are exclusive to this genus.
