Like Tritoniopsis parviflora var. parviflora but Tritoniopsis parviflora var. angusta has a longer claw and fewer flowers.

Unbranched cormous geophyte up to 30 cm. Leaves linear with one or two veins. Flowers yellow with brown markings, fading to a reddish-brown; 3 lower tepals are joined together at the base of the flower.
