Robust densely-leafy, roughly-hairy shrub up to 1.5m, with scabrid stems. Leaves oblong to oblanceolate, irregularly toothed, margins revolute, clasping at base, often woolly below with raised veins; flowerheads radiate, small, in branched corymbs, yellow.
