Slender, shortly hairy shrublet up to 40cm. Leaves ovate-lanceolate, spreading, margins slightly revolute, weakly prickly-toothed, coarsely ciliate below and on mid-rib beneath; bracts lanceolate. Flowers sessile (without flower stalks), few in upper axils, white, bell-shaped, about 1cm across; calyx coarsely hairy; fruits about 8mm long.
