Aromatic and camphor-scented, sparsely branched shrub with naked cracked bark, up to 2m. Leaves velvety, crowded, lance-shaped; flowers borne on short, side branches in loose clusters, radiate with white rays and a disc of yellow florets.
Dense stands indicate the presence of swamps and seeps.
