Tuberous geophyte up to 25cm. Leaf is usually dry at flowering, erect, elliptical, ribbed, 45 x 20mm. Flowers in a lax raceme on a wiry peduncle, star-shaped, bright yellow, up to 12mm across; pedicels wiry up to 20mm long.
