Slender, very erect shrublet up to 50cm. Leaves are fine, densely arranged with apical glands; single upright stem, devoid of leaves at the lower end, terminates in an umbel of ovoid to urn-shaped purple to lilac flowers with sticky corollas.
Latin: obliquus = with unequal sides, slanting sideways; probably referring to angle at which flowers lie to the stem.
Habitat
Upper slopes, dampish, peaty areas
