Slender and hairy, 60-150mm tall. Leaves mostly 2 sometimes 3, cauline, alternate and fringed with hairs, often purplish below. Inflorescence single-flowered; flower greenish-yellow or white with a few green spots just inside hood; median sepal with a sac-like hood; lateral sepals spreading with a pouch-shaped spur in the middle; lip narrow.
Note: Pollinated by oil-collecting bees.
Habitat
Occasional in renosterbos and fynbos, usually partial shade, mainly from 60-700m.
