Description

Erect to sprawling annual herb up to 30cm, covered with gland-tipped hairs. Leaves lance-shaped to lobed, toothed; bears solitary radiate flowerheads at branch tips, with white rays, purple at the base and darker on the reverse, and a purple disc of florets.

Latin: pluvia, rain; referring to the plants habit of growing and producing flowers after rains; hence common name Reenblommetjie.
