Tuberous, twining geophyte with slender stems that twine round low bushes. Leaves linear-lanceolate, toothed (not lobed); showy, white to pale grey-mauve flowers, small dark indigo spots near or in mouth; star-shaped flowers have 2 lips of 2 and 3 petals respectively.
