Description
Woody perennial up to 25cm, stems with persistent, scale-like leaf bases. Leaves mostly sessile, linear to narrowly-oblong, slightly succulent. Flowers yellowish.
Fruit depressed-ovate, shorter than bracts.
Latin: rupes = rock, cliff, -estris = indicates place of growth; referring to the plants habitat, mostly amongst rocks.
