Upright resprouting shrub to 1.5m, growing on coastal flats. 1mm wide leaves are keeled and elliptic in shape; white fluffy flowers are 6-10mm in diameter and borne in clusters at the ends of branches. Striking red, fleshy outgrowths on the flower stalks.
