Erect, silvery shrub up to 1.2m. Leaves 3-foliolate, median leaflet lanceolate, lateral leaflets smaller, flat, silvery-silky; flowers single on short shoots, scattered along stems, pale yellow, wings and keel silky, calyx silky, lobes narrowly triangular.
Silvery wands very noticeable on slopes 2 years after fire, growing upright above surrounding vegetation.
