Description

Much-branched, sparsely leafy, hemiparasitic shrublet up to 60cm, with stems angled and minutely pustulate. Leaves small, terete; flowers in lax corymbs, whitish, open-faced; fruit dry.

Latin: virgatum = green branch twig, sprout, slender: referring to the twiggy, long, slender appearance of this species.
