Cormous geophyte 5-20cm high. Leaves 3-5, erect, 1-2mm wide, leathery, base usually surrounded by a long sheath, margins smooth; flowers one per flowering stalk, yellow with a green reverse; bract single, green, tightly sheathing the pedicel.
