Tufted perennial up to 60cm, from thick woody subterranean stems. Leaves in basal tuft, permanent, leathery, semi-reclining, upper leaves finely divided; small flowers are cream to yellow, in flat-topped umbels; fruit with prominent dorsal ribs.
