Sprawling, reseeding shrublet with wiry branches, up to 70cm. Leaves 3-foliolate, leaflets small, broadly obovate and drooping. Small flowers 2-6(-15) in terminal racemes are pale purple to pink (sometimes white) with a hairless calyx. Seed pods are borne on a stalk and are ovate to obliquely oblong and flattened.
Flowers profusely the first season after fire and thereafter hardly at all.
Greek: oxalidifolius; referring to the plants leaves which are similar to the genus Oxalis.
Habitat
Moist sandstone slopes.
