Description

A rigid, stoutly branched shrub up to 1.2 m with small bunches of leaves. The flowers, 6-17mm long, are variable and may be smooth or hairy, dry or sticky, and have a wide range in colour (red, pink, orange, brown, yellow and green). A characteristic feature are the protruding brown anthers which hang down from the slightly inflated flower tube.
