Description

Plants 40cm - 65cm high. Corm depressed-globose with papery to fibrous tunics. Stem unbranched. Leaves sword-shaped to lanceolate - fairly soft textured. Flowers orange - in a secund (spacing to one side) - spike. Seeds globose - bright orange with a fleshy coat when fresh.

On granite - sandstone or shale - mainly coastal
