Description

Plants 25-50cm high. Corm ovoid with tunics of firm, wiry fibres. Leaves linear, midribs slightly thickened, 1-1.5mm wide. Flowers greenish-yellow, fragrant. Perianth tube 16-30mm long. Tepals recurving, the dorsal largest, the lower arching downwards. acuminatus = tapering to a point - referring to the shape of the leaves.
