Description

Erect, prickly perennial up to 2m. Leaves 3-5, palmate, coarsely toothed, on long, prickly leaf stalks; flowers short stemmed in terminal racemes, large, pale yellow with a dark eye, epicalyx (whorl of bracts below the calyx) of 10-12 linear lobes; staminal tube up to 20mm long.
