Description

Decumbent to prostrate, sometimes mat-forming shrublet up to 20cm. Leaves 3-foliolate, leaflets linear-oblanceolate, silky; flowers in terminal heads, mauve, sometimes with darker centre, wings sometimes sparsely hairy, keel silky, calyx silky, lobes triangular.

Latin: argyr, silver; -ellus, diminutive, small: referring to plants silvery appearance and small size.

Habitat

Lowland fynbos below 400m

Flower Date

September to October usually after fire.
