Description

Plants 8-30cm high. Corm ovoid with woody - overlapping tunics. Leaves several-ribbed - sword-shaped to linear. Flowers white to yellow - often reddish on the outside and sometimes darker in the centre. Bracts green often becoming dry above.

Habitat

Wet - sandy flats - marshes - streamsides.
