Description

Uncommon and seldom seen shrub up to 50cm. Branches are ascending and covered with dissected leaves, the segments of which are deeply pointed. Terminal flower heads are solitary and sessile, flowers are not hidden by the leaves; an involucre of short bracts enhances the the head and deepens the pink of the perianths; buds are covered with silvery hairs; seed is beaked with the persisting base of the style.
