Description

Low-growing, sprawling, much-branched plant, supported by surrounding vegetation and spreading to 1m. Leaves are thin-textured, sparsely covered with erect hairs and divided into linear segments with incised margins. 2-5 small, dainty flowers are dark to pale purple in colour and are borne on conspicuously long flower stalks; pollen of the 4 fertile stamens is orange.

Shale or sandstone in cool and moist mountainous habitats or cool sites in lower foothills
