Description

Bulbous geophyte up to 40cm. Leaves several, suberect, linear to filiform, usually ribbed, sometimes twisted, 10-20cm long, usually with rows of small hairs. Flowers in narrowish spike-like raceme, white with darker keels, only a few open at a time, faintly honey scented.

Habitat

Dry flats or exposed rocky slopes
