Description

Plants 25-45cm high. Corm globose with tough fibrous tunics. Leaves tubular - hollow - mostly 8-14mm in diameter - truncate (squared off at the apex). Flowers in dense - two-ranked spikes - about 8mm long - blue to mauve - fragrant. Bracts dry - rigid - brown with broad membranous margins.
