Description

Erect shrublet up to 50cm, fairly densely covered with leaves. Leaves are open-backed and spreading, with long leaf stalks adpressed to the stems; flowers are small, bell-shaped, calycine, white and hairy; protruding anthers.

Latin: petiol-us = stalk of leaf; referring to the longer than usual leaf stalks.

Habitat

High, rocky southfacing slopes
