Description

Rhizomatous geophyte up to 70cm. Stems flattened and 2-winged, usually unbranched. Leaves are 4-7mm wide and soft-textured. Exceptionally large flowers are pale blue, deep blue or lilac and usually face to one side of the stem; flowers last only one day but new flowers appear successively over a period of days or sometimes weeks; spathes green with transparent margins.

Flowers more abundantly after fire.
