Description

Tuberous shrublet up to 15cm. Leaves silvery-silky; upper leaves thread-like 3-foliolate, lower broadly obovate to lanceolate. Flowers sessile, several per flower stalk, yellow fading to orange after pollination. Resprouts after fire.

Greek: argureos = silver, of silver; referring to the silvery leaves and seedpods of this species.

Habitat

Flats and hill slopes, especially after fire
