Description

Very similar to Erica viscaria subsp.macrocepala but corolla is markedly shorter.

Erect shrublet with crowded, overlapping, pointed leaves; flowers are crowded at tips of branches, tubular, flaring at the mouth.

This species is highly threatened by too frequent fires.
