Description

Tufted perennial up to 60cm tall, with smooth stems.. Leaves leathery, sword-shaped, strongly-veined and silky at the base; flowers are pink or white in laxish, discoid flowerheads on different planes; bracts smooth.

Latin: glaber, glabrous, smooth: referring to hairless, smooth stems and bracts.
